Mark your calendars for Friday evening, October 28, 7 p.m. for the KC Reeds and Rhythm. This world-class ensemble is a portion of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra and they are coming to CUMC as part of the newly-created concert series sponsored by the Cameron Muncipal Band. Don't miss out!
Our children and youth are collecting clothing and other items as their October mission projects. FUEL the Flame needs young men's clothing, sizes S and M, for the NW Missouri Foster-Adopt Connect Center. Drop off donations at the church or at the Center office on 3rd Street. Thank you so much for your generosity!
Operation Christmas Child is here! Look for items needed on the kids' table in the sanctuary. Deadline to donate items is November 9. Thank you!
We need 5 more persons to begin a one-room Sunday School Program on Sundays, 9-9:45 am in the Loft. Leaders will serve on a rotating schedule. Contact Dawn Gabauer, email@example.com.
Please bring new or gently used children's books throughout the month of November. Our UMW will house them on the shelves in the narthex for children to take home, read, return, and exchange. For more information, call Linda Ensign, 724-1224.
Our very busy nursery needs some additional volunteers. What a great problem to have! Volunteers serve on a rotating basis, usually once every 2 months. Contact Linda Morris, 632-4940 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our church serves as a conduit for donated bread to six different agencies in Northwest Missouri every other week. We need a new coordinator as of January 1, 2017. This involves recruiting the necessary people to receive and organize the bread products on alternating Sundays at 11:45 a.m. and to be present at bread pick-up on Monday mornings between 7:15 and 8:45 a.m. Contact Bob Stoebener at 816-632-3139.
The CUMC chancel choir welcomes any and all who wish to sing in worship! We practice on Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. under the leadership of Ann Goodwin Clark. Make many joyful noises!
