  • Prayer for Our Haiti Mission Team

    Dear Lord,

We ask your blessing and protection for our Haiti mission team, Barbie, Cindy, Donn, Grant, Heather, Lynette, Malinda, and Paula.  Give them safe travels and a healthy stay.  Make them powerful witnesses to your love and care as they serve the people of Haiti with clean water.  Bless their time of prayer and devotions; draw them closer to you and to one another.  We give you all glory and thanks for making their trip possible.  In Jesus' name we pray.  Amen.

  • Holy Trinity Sunday

The painting of the Holy Trinity above is an icon believed to have been created by Russian painter Andrei Rublev in the 15th Century.  It is the most famous of all Russian icons and is considered as one of the highest achievements of Russian art.  The bodies of the 3 figures form a circle.  It is possible that, at one time, there was a mirror affixed to the space between the left and right figures, inviting the viewer to join the circle:  The image represents God as a relationship of love, inviting all to become a part.

  • Cameron's Blessing Box

Cameron UMC and The Christian Church co-sponsor a Blessing Box located on the corner of 3rd Street & Pine.  Anyone can donate items and anyone can remove items.  We try to keep it stocked with easy-to-open and ready-to eat food items: pull-tab cans of pasta; tuna packs; deviled ham; cereal; crackers; peanut butter & jelly; individual cups of applesauce, fruit & pudding; canned beans & vegetables as well as personal hygiene items (toilet paper; paper towel; shampoo; soap; toothbrushes & paste; washcloths; hand towels) and diapers & wipes.  Water & Gatorade are appreciated in warmer weather.  Please donate.  Please receive.  Be blessed.

  • Men's Devotional Meeting

Join the men of our church on Thursdays, 7 a.m., at Dinos Diner.for devotions and discussion and a whole plateful of joy.  Contact Ken Jensen or Pastor Don Hoffman for more information.
