  • Food Pantry & Clothes Closet Volunteers

A HUGE thank you to all those that worked at the Cameron Food Pantry and Clothes Closet on Sunday, October 1. The work you that you put in either sorting clothes, moving furniture, moving two pallets full of canned beans, general maintenance of the building, along with scrapping layers of paint, AND painting the front façade of the building, has not gone unnoticed.

Over 30 people helped make our space look and feel better. You all truly went above and beyond. We genuinely appreciate your recent physical support and the support financially, or physically that you have given to us over the many years. The recent mission day helps us to provide a better, more respectful place to serve our clients that are need.

Many, Many Blessings, The Cameron Food Pantry & Clothes Closet

  • Confirmation Class is Forming

Anyone 12 years of age or older is welcome to participate in this year's confirmation class.  The purpose of confirmation is not a "rite of passage" or a "check-point" on the church to-do list, but the FIRST STEP TOWARD A MATURE FAITH as a disciple of Jesus Christ.  To register or for more information, contact Dawn Gabauer, 632-3461.

  • Prayer for All Victims of Recent Disasters, Both Natural and Man Caused

Loving Lord, we come to you trusting in your mercy and knowing that your steadfast love endures forever. Look with mercy on those who have been harmed or displaced by this disaster. Grant them your strength to meet the days ahead. Allow those who are affected to experience your peace which passes all understanding and new hope in the resurrection. Move in those who are able to give aid, that we may be your hands and heart on the earth. Be with all who offer your assistance; may your Spirit uphold them.  Give us the assurance of your presence even in this time so that we can cling to your promise of hope and life shown to us through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.

  • Opportunity: Men's Devotional Meeting

Our men's prayer breakfast has moved to Thursdays, 7 a.m., at Dinos Diner. Come join us for devotions and discussion.  Contact Ken Jensen or Pastor Don Hoffman for more information.

  • Opportunity: Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are trained to offer a ministry of presence to anyone who would like a loving, Christian companion through life's ups and downs.  We are an extension of Jesus' invitation to "come to him" and let him carry you awhile.  Call a leader, listed in the newsletter, and talk with them.  You will be glad you did.
